Fiorentina summer mercato 2020

This is probably the strangest summer transfer window we’ve ever seen as Fiorentina, like every other club in the world, tries to make sense of how the coronavirus has affected the player market. Sporting director Daniele Pradè is the man tasked with figuring out how to improve the team, which is a deeply unenviable task given all the confusion and uncertainty in the air.

We’ll be reporting official moves, rumors, and everything in between right here with our usual Viola Nation spin. Despite Rocco Commisso’s spending spree in January, this roster remains unproven at some spots, thin in others, and fluid in the rest. From 1 September to 5 October, while the window is open, we’ll find out how exactly Pradè and company address those areas.
