Deadline day is upon us, fellow travelers. We’ll be updating every move Fiorentina makes here in real time. Join us.

9:16 AM: Bobby Duncan’s proposed move to Sunderland has fallen through. That kid is not getting the help he needs.

10:01 AM: Luca Ranieri loaned to Ascoli. Full story here.

10:58 AM: Alfred Duncan loaned (with an obligation to buy) from Sassuolo. Full story here.

11:28 AM: Igor loaned (with an obligation to buy) from SPAL. Full story here.

12:22 PM: Sounds like there’s a deal in place for Genoa’s Domenico Criscito, but he doesn’t want to move and has threatened to sit out. Wild situation there.

12:23 PM: Lots of people claiming that Kevin-Prince Boateng is en route to Beşiktaş.

12:39 PM: Several sources claiming that Fiorentina are going to make a late push for Diego Laxalt of Torino, who’ll be the last purchase of the day; could still be several more exits.

12:47 PM: Riccardo Sottil may not be leaving after all. Not sure what this does to the Christian Kouamé move.

1:03 PM: Forgot to mention it earlier, but it sounds like the move for Sofyan Amrabat is done; he won’t leave Hellas Verona until this summer after already dressing for two clubs this year though.

2:59 PM: It’s official. Fiorentina have bought Christian Kouamé. Big time signing. Full story here.

3:32 PM: No Laxalt, apparently. Club might still look for another option on the left, but the clock is winding down.

3:37 PM: AS Roma haven’t called Juan Jesus for their latest matchday squad, which could maybe hint at an exit. Be crazy if both him and Igor joined up today.

4:06 PM: Criscito gives a definitive no to the Viola offer. So much for that.

4:27 PM: Gianluca di Marzio confirms that KPB is Beşiktaş-bound. So much for Ribeng.

4:53 PM: Amrabat seems to have completed his medical, so expect the announcement momentarily.

5:08 PM: Per di Marzio, Lecce is the mystery suitor for Juan Jesus, not Fiorentina.

5:13 PM: Rocco Commisso says that the mercato is closed, although he’s probably referring to deals beyond Amrabat. Might still be some guys headed towards the exits.

5:17 PM: Right on cue, Alfredo Pedulla reports that Valentin Eysseric may be heading for Hellas. Not sure if it’s a loan or a sale yet, but the former is the likelier outcome.

5:45 PM: Another di Marzio bomb. Fiorentina may snipe Genoa’s Kevin Agudelo from Parma. Adding another midfielder makes sense, and Agudelo can play.

6:00 PM: 2 hours to go until the window closes. Players could still be moved to clubs in England, Spain, or France, as well as a bunch of smaller leagues.

6:10 PM: Confirmation from di Marzio on Eysseric’s move to Hellas.

6:16 PM: Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Now di Marzio reports that the Viola are in for Genoa’s Mario Pajac.

6:35 PM: Officially official for Amrabat. Full story here.

6:45 PM: Fiorentina have added 3 youngsters to the academy in GK Daniele Dainelli from Cattolica Virtus, AM Vincenzo Furina from Catanzaro, and GK Niccolò Carcani from Follonica Gavarrano.

7:00 PM: Less than an hour to go. Waiting for the Eysseric and Boateng exits to go official, as well as a possible finalization for Agudelo.

7:05 PM: Sounds like Agudelo’s a done deal. That was Corvino-esque. Full story here.

7:45 PM: Eysseric to Hellas is official. Loan and maybe an option, but doesn’t sound like it. Full story here.

8:00 PM: That’s it. No more acquisitions. Could still see some sales, but that’s your incoming mercato.

8:15 PM: Missed this one earlier, but Tòfol Montiel has been loaned to Portuguese outfit Vitoria Setubal. Should be a great landing spot for him.

9:57 PM: Another straggler, although I deserve a break since Fiorentina didn’t post anything until well after the deadline either. Anyways, Kevin-Prince Boateng has been loaned to Beşiktaş for 18 months. Full story here.
