Reports from Italy suggest AC Milan are prepared to hand Suso plus €1.5m cash to Fiorentina for midfielder Mati Fernandez.

With former Viola boss Vincenzo Montella now in charge at San Siro, the club have been linked a number of his former players.

According to La Nazione, Mati Fernandez is equally eager for a reunion after finding himself on the fringes of the Fiorentina first team. The 30-year-old made just eleven league starts last term, recording one goal and three assists in a total of 22 Serie A appearances.

Meanwhile, Spanish winger Suso impressed during a loan spell at Genoa, but -- after leaving Liverpool in January 2015 -- has not been given a chance to prove his worth to the Rossoneri.
