According to their agent, Fiorentina have expressed their interest in both Atalanta's Luca Cigarini and Gian Marco Ferrari of Crotone.

"Cigarini is a player that Paulo Sousa likes a great deal," the player's representative Giovanni Bia told Radio Blu last week. "There was a timid show of interest in January, so we'll see what will happen in the summer transfer session.

The 29 year old midfielder - who has spent time with Napoli, Parma and Sevilla - has been with the Bergamaschi since 2011, weighing in with two goals and two assists in 25 Serie A appearances this term.
The agent then went on to laud Crotone defender Ferrari, with the 24 year old having enjoyed a breakout season in which he played 41 games and helped the Calabrian side earn promotion to the top flight.

"I can say with certainty that the Viola are also in the running for Ferrari and want to sign him. It is pleasing to see him linked with Fiorentina, as it's a great club," Bia continued. "He did so well this season with Crotone. Ferrari is a left-footed centre-back with great technique and fits perfectly into a three-man defence."
