Late news

Fiorentina boss Beppe Iachini was forced to replace Franck Ribery and Erick Pulgar in the lineup with Christian Kouame and Sofyan Amrabat respectively. For Kouame especially this match is a chance to impress, given that he was out of favor with Prandelli. Cristiano Biraghi also returns, replacing Lorenzo Venuti at left wing-back, his first start since Parma.

Gian Piero Gasperini interestingly has benched Joakim Maehle in favor of Mario Pasalic. Whether that means a four-back formation or someone out of position at right back remains to be seen.

Fiorentina (3-5-2): Drągowski; Martínez Quarta, Milenković, Pezzella, Cáceres; Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli; Biraghi, Vlahović, Kouame

Atalanta (3-4-1-2): Gollini; Toloi, Romero, Palomino; Pašalić, De Roon, Frueler; Gosens, Malinovski, Muriel; Zapata
