Fiorentina 3-0 Udinese: Rapid reaction

• Napoli lost to Bologna in the early kick off today, meaning that a win for Fiorentina would see the Viola move one point ahead of the Partenopei
  
  
• After a very positive start to the game, Fiorentina went in at the break 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Nikola Kalinic, after he deflected in Milan Badelj's low shot
  
  
• In the second half, a penalty scored by Josip Ilicic and a last minute goal from captain Gonzalo Rodriguez sealed what was essentially a straightforward victory over a Udinese side that offered very little, their best chance falling to Antonio Di Natale who blazed over the bar when he really should have scored.
• Fiorentina have now bounced back from two disappointing draws at home to Empoli and away to Sassuolo and capitalised on Napoli's defeat to Bologna to return to second place in Serie A.
