Here is all of Fiorentina’s winter transfer business

Despite the late flurry, the Viola were pretty quiet in this transfer window

The storm of mercato, mercifully ended another 6 months, has settled on the smoldering wreckage of Serie A. As the Juventus financial doping scandal dominates headlines, it’s perhaps no surprise that spending around the league has decreased immensely. The league spent a total of €32.2 million, last among the so-called Big 5 European leagues.

Fiorentina’s transfer window lined up perfectly with Serie A as a whole. Despite an outrageously long list of injuries—Gaetano Castrovilli, Riccardo Sottil, Lucas Martínez Quarta, half a dozen guys in and out of the medical report—and a squad that’s more holes than anything else, the Viola mostly chose to stand pat. Here’s the full list of what Joe Barone and Daniele Pradè got up to.
