For the fifth year in a row, Fiorentina will commence their pre-season preparations with a retreat in the comune of Moena. The idyllic setting in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy will host the Tuscan-based club between July 9th and 24th and fans will be able to attend around two training sessions per day.
The Viola will play four friendly matches over the course of the retreat, the first against the Trentino team on Thursday July 14th at 17:30 CET. The opponents for the remaining three games have yet to be finalised but will be played on Sunday July 17 at 16:30, Wednesday July 20 and Saturday July 23, both with 17:30 kick-off times. These matches will be broadcast live from Fiorentina's official website.
During the first week of August, it seems likely that Paulo Sousa's men will take on Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen in Salzburg. La Liga side Valencia's have also reported via their official website that they will take on Fiorentina in the Trofeo Naranja at the Mestalla Stadium on August 13th.
There may be one more friendly to consider as Monday, August 29th will mark the club's 90th birthday. According to FirenzeViola.it, officials are considering hosting a special match at the stadium, despite the fact the season will have already started on August 21st.
