Reports from Italy have emerged today stating that Fiorentina Sporting Director Daniele Pradè has left the club. Having previously fulfilled a similar role at AS Roma, Pradè arrived in Florence in May 2012. The news was broken by RAI Toscana, and has yet to be officially announced by the club but the arrival at the stadium of  officials Mario Cognigni, Andrea Rogg and Valentino Angeloni along with Pradè himself seemed to confirm the news.

The same reports suggest that Pantaleo Corvino  currently working for Bologna FC – will reprise his role with the Viola, having been at the club between 2005 and 2012 when his contract was terminated. During his previous tenure, Corvino brought in players such as Stevan Jovetic, Luca Toni, Juan Manuel Vargas and Adrian Mutu.

After the last two transfer windows ended in disaster, it is to be hoped that this turn of events will prove to be positive for Fiorentina's 2016/17 campaign.
