The Serie A 2023/24 calendar is finally here. We can now start to look forward to the upcoming season which will kick off on the weekend of August 20th.

These match dates are of course provisional, as they are subject to change according to the TV schedule. Serie A weekends will be spread over Friday to Monday, and there is only one mid-week matchday this season, which comes on 27th September.

Four international breaks are scheduled, 10th September, 15th October, 19th November, and 24th March. With Fiorentina involved in the new four-team Supercoppa, the January 7th fixture will need to be moved.

Fiorentina will kick-off the season away to newly promoted Genoa. This will bring us up against former Viola Alberto Gilardino, making his management debut in Serie A.

We travel to take on Inter on Day 3 and on Day 8 Fiorentina are away to league champions Napoli. Day 11 sees us host Juventus before a trip to face Milan on Day 13.

As with the last two seasons, the second half of the season does not follow the same fixture pattern as the first half. In the old days, we would be due to play Genoa at home, instead we will host Udinese on Day 20. Day 28 to Day 31 looks like a tough period where we will face Roma, Atalanta, Milan, and Juventus.

The season will end with two home games with Monza and Napoli followed by our final day trip to Cagliari. The new jerseys have been launched, the transfer window is open, and season-tickets are now on sale (with many complaints over the price increase), but here’s what really matters, Fiorentina’s fixture list for the 2023/24 Serie A season.

All that’s left to see is whether or not we will also be taking part in the Europa Conference League, but unfortunately, UEFA don’t seem to be in any hurry in making a decision on Juventus’s punishment.
