Fiorentina vs Roma: Lineups and how to watch

Both teams make it pretty clear that they have other priorities.

Late news

Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano handed starts to Riccardo Saponara and Lorenzo Venuti, both of whom are out of contract this summer and may leave the team. He rotated the side pretty heavily from the group that played in the Coppa Italia final, obviously looking to keep legs fresh for bigger things.

AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has made it very clear that he doesn’t care about this one in the slightest, fielding a U23 team with a sprinkling of backups except for Chris Smalling. The disdain wafts off this XI.

Maybe the biggest talking point of this dead rubber—with both teams playing in European finals, neither wanted to risk too much—was a debut for the new Viola kit. The atmosphere was more of a family carnival as everyone queued up to thank the players for a magical season in the final home game of the campaign.

Lineups

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Cerofolini; Venuti, Igor, Martínez Quarta, Biraghi; Mandragora, Duncan; Ikoné, Barák, Saponara; Jović

Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Bove, Smalling, Llorente; Missori, Tahirović, Wijnaldum, Zalewski; El Shaarawy, Solbakken; Belotti

How to watch
