Both managers rotate their lineups, so both teams may have to adjust their plans from the start.

Late news

Fiorentina mister Vincenzo Italiano has rotated his side a bit, with Gaetano Castrovilli and Riccardo Sottil coming into the XI. Expect more of a midfield 3 than a double pivot and a 10 in Sofyan Amrabat’s absence.

Spezia manager Leonardo Semplici has also picked a 4-3-3, but added some surprise names. Przemysław Wiśniewski, Szymon Żurkowski, and Daniel Maldini are all usually on the bench but are in the starting lineup today. Old friend Bartłomiej Drągowski, of course, is the goalkeeper.

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Terracciano; Biraghi, Igor, Martínez Quarta, Dodô; Castrovilli, Mandragora, Bonaventura; Sottil, Cabral, Ikoné

Spezia (4-3-3): Drągowski; Nikolaou, Wiśniewski, Ampadu, Amian; Zurkowski, Ekdal, Bourabia; Maldini, Nzola, Gyasi
