Friday Poll: Rate Fiorentina’s 2022-2023 jerseys

And so begins the mad scramble to keep your torso updated.

Bronx Billionaire Rocco Commisso Looks To Revive Fortunes Of Top Flight Soccer Team

After signing with Kappa last year, Fiorentina’s new shirts were met with a mostly positive, albeit lukewarm, response. This year, they’ve gone for something bolder. Behold the new shirts, just officially released this morning.

The bars radiating out from the new badge (which looks much better on the shirt than in isolation) are sort of cool, although some of the color blocking feels slightly off.

They look nice enough but are also oddly reminiscent of the famous Brescia V.

Despite some concerns from a promotional video yesterday, there aren’t any black shorts, but instead a white set and a purple set; the former should look superb with the home shirt. The pre-match shirts are uh something else entirely, but the red and yellow goalkeeper strips are nice enough and the red training shirt is just fine. There are also whispers of a forthcoming, all-black with purple trim third strip, but we haven’t gotten any official looks at it yet. Perhaps most importantly to the fans, these aren’t going to cost you an arm and a leg; a couple of toes will suffice.
