AC Milan vs Fiorentina: Lineups and how to watch

A couple of little surprises but nothing too wild for either side in our final Serie A game of 2022.

Late news

AC Milan mister Stefano Pioli hands Malick Thiaw a second consecutive start at the back, while Brahim Díaz pushes out to the wing to accommodate Rade Krunić as the 10. Former Viola goalkeeper Ciprian Tătărușanu will go between the sticks.

Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano loses not one but two players during the warmup. Both Lucas Martínez Quarta and Giacomo Bonaventura are forced out and replaced by Igor and Antonín Barák, respectively. For the latter, it’s fair to wonder about starting a 33-year-old with an injury history in his 3rd match of the week. The bench suddenly looks a lot more empty, so let’s hope extra hard for no injuries.

Lineups

AC Milan (4-2-3-1): Tătărușanu; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Díaz, Krunić, Leāo; Giroud

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Dodô, Milenković, Igor, Biraghi; Amrabat, Mandragora; Ikonè, Barák, Saponara; Cabral
