After the positive momentum gained from last Thursday’s win in Scotland against Hearts, Fiorentina will now face a much sterner test. Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio is coming to town, who currently sit sixth in the league with 17 points from 8 matches. A win here could see Sarri’s men jump all the way up to third place, while the Viola notching 3 points would carry them up to 9th. A loss here for Fiorentina and we would remain in 13th place, which feels like a return to the Beppe Iachini era.

Dodo’s return to the lineup is the biggest bright spot for Fiorentina, but otherwise, it’s Vincenzo Italiano playing one of his best possible lineups. Look to see if Christian Kouame can continue his great form and if Luka Jovic can build off the momentum gained last Thursday with his goal against Hearts.
