For those of us in the States who use Paramount + to watch Fiorentina, one of the funniest moments this season occurred against Torino. When Riccardo Saponara came on as a substitute in the 85th minute, with his last name and number clearly on the TV feed, the announcer decided that it was Sofyan Amrabat making an appearance instead. The funniest part is, he stuck with it, declaring Saponara to be Amrabat until the final whistle, even with Saponara playing as a left-winger.
Announcer doesn’t know we have two bald men on the team. As a bald man myself, I find that incredibly insensitive. Either way, looks like another Saponara, not Amrabat, sighting.
