Surprises abound.

Late news

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini gets Duván Zapata back and healthy enough to start, although Josip Iličić drops to the bench with Aleksey Miranchuk stepping in. Davide Zappacosta (Fiorentina beffata) will work at left wingback, while Marco Sportiello fills in for Juan Musso between the sticks.

Fiorentina mister Vincenzo Italiano leaves Bartłomiej Drągowski on the bench in favor of Pietro Terracciano. The midfield’s where the real action is, though: Lucas Torreira makes his Viola debut in midfield while Alfred Duncan gets the nod ahead of Gaetano Castrovilli. Riccardo Sottil gets the nod in relief of Nicolás González on the left of the attack.

Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Sportiello; Toloi, Palomino, Djimsiti; Mæhle, Pašalić, Freuler, Zappacosta; Pessina, Miranchuk; Zapata

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Terracciano; Venuti, Milenković, Igor, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Torreira, Duncan; Callejón, Vlahović, Sottil
