It feels unreal that Fiorentina’s back in Serie A action; it feels like just yesterday that the team was slumping to another listless defeat under Giuseppe Iachini. You know what that means, besides the obvious things that, like, we can watch the Viola and live fulfilling lives again? Yep, we’re back in in-season podcast episodes.

As usual, we’re a little behind, so this one’s focused mostly on the AS Roma game. Mike and I took a look at what went right, what went wrong, and what we can irresponsibly extrapolate from it. We also discussed the transfer market; some of our predictions wound up being weirdly prescient. We capped it off by chatting with friend of the site and Viola Club Gli Ingestibili Prato stalwart Simone Rosadi (Facebook and Instagram) about the team, the fans, and the ownership.

Along the way, we learned that Mike’s high school fashion is cycling back around, that Tito’s got some thoughts on jiggery-pokery, and that your favorite podcast idiots aren’t too bothered by thought of spending someone else’s money.

As always, we had a blast making this. Huge thank you to Simone, Producer Mike_Hines, and Windchime Weather for our theme music. If the embedded podcast player isn’t present right above this paragraph, we implore you not to panic. Instead, you can check this episode out for free on Megaphone, Apple, Google, or Spotify. As always, thanks for listening, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. If you feel like it, give us a review on whatever platform you listen on.
