Late news
Cagliari boss Leonardo Semplici sure looks like he’s going to a 4-3-1-2, fielding just two central defenders and four midfielders; it’s a big change from his typical 3-5-2. Keep an eye out for Viola loanee Alfred Duncan in the middle, although Giovanni Simeone’s on the bench.
Fiorentina manager Giuseppe Iachini has also shuffled his deck. Igor join the back line with Martín Cáceres shifting to right wingback, pushing Lorenzo Venuti to the bench alongside Gaetano Castrovilli. The big news, though, is that Franck Ribery isn’t starting; it’s Christian Kouamé getting a rare chance instead.
Lineups
Cagliari (3-5-2): Cragno; Zappa, Ceppitelli, Godín, Lykogiannis; Nández, Marin, Duncan; Nainggolan; Pavoletti, João Pedro
Fiorentina (5-3-2): Drągowski; Milenković, Pezzella, Igor; Cáceres, Amrabat, Pulgar, Bonaventura, Biraghi; Vlahović, Kouamé
