We’ve got a little bit of a throwback episode for you here. Remember that cockamamie European Super League those Notts County cosplayers up in Turin were trying to start awhile back? We actually recorded this episode right as the news was breaking and guess what? We didn’t discuss it at all. Because we are soccer knowers and could tell that it would collapse (disclaimer: the previous sentence is a lie.)

Instead, we’ve got a rollicking conversation covering the current state of the club, starting with BeppeBall 2.0 and rolling through relegation chances before winding up at the possibility of a new manager and/or sporting director next year. The real showstopper, though, is a chat with fiorentina.it’s editor-in-chief Niccolò Misul, who’s as articulate and perceptive as you’d expect but also just a genuinely lovely man.
