Some unexpected changes in attack and defense for both sides mean these teams could catch each other off guard.

Late news

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano has thrown a curveball, benching both Nicolás González and Riccardo Saponara and opting for Riccardo Sottil on the left. Igor gets the nod over Nikola Milenković at the back.

Sampdoria boss Roberto D’Aversa has also rotated a bit, picking Manolo Gabbiadini instead of Fabio Quagliarella (who’s now a lock to score off the bench) and switching up his defense, introducing Alex Ferrari and Nicola Murru.

Lineups

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Terracciano; Venuti, Martínez Quarta, Igor, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Torreira, Duncan; Callejón, Vlahović, Sottil

Sampdoria (4-4-2): Audero; Bereszyński, Ferrari, Colley, Murru; Candreva, Silva, Thorsby, Verre; Gabbiadini, Caputo

How to watch

TV: Probably not, but feel free to check the full international television listings.

Online: Here is your list of safe, reliable, and legal streams. Any requests for or links to illegal streams get you booted into the pond. There’s probably no Twitter for us on this one, sadly, because time zones and full time employment suck the joy out of everything. That means you should keep it here for the usual mix of happy yelling and angry yelling with the best damn sports community on the internet.

Forza Viola!
