Gather round ye old headphones, for Viola Station 13 is here

This will probably be one of the better English language podcasts about Fiorentina you listen to this week.

Since Fiorentina will kick off against Torino in not very many days, we figured that it’s probably time for all seven of you to listen to us discuss the upcoming festivities. That’s right: Mike’s mellifluous tones and Tito’s halting diction are back in this 13th episode of Viola Station, which is 12 more than we really expected to do.

In this one, we cover a lot of stuff. There’s plenty of talk about the transfer market (and yes, we’re pretty excited about Borja Valero), but we also discuss the stadium news, a surprisingly tight 3-2 derby win over Florentia for Fiorentina Femminile, and precisely how amped up we are for Abby Kim’s arrival. Along the way, we learn that Mike’s cinematic references range from Dorothy Garland to John Cena, that Tito does not believe in science, and that we should really not Freaky Friday ourselves into each other’s jobs. It’s at least a little bit fun.

If the embedded podcast player isn’t present right above this paragraph, we implore you not to panic. Instead, you can check this episode out for free on Megaphone, Apple, Google, or Spotify. Happy listening. And remember, it’s almost time for kickoff.
