Late news
Fiorentina boss Giuseppe Iachini has once again shuffled the deck considerably, opting for what might be a 3-4-3 or a 3-4-1-2 if Franck Ribery plays as a 10. Bartłomiej Drągowski is back between the sticks while Lorenzo Venuti starts on the left with Milan Badelj coming in to give Erick Pulgar and Gaetano Castrovilli (both of whom are reportedly carrying minor muscular injuries) a breather. Dušan Vlahović gets the nod up top.
Cagliari boss Walter Zenga, faced with a shortfall at the back, has picked fullback Charalampos Lykogiannis at the back. Valter Birsa comes into the midfield to add an attacking spark, with Viola loanee Giovanni Simeone and Viola-linked João Pedro up front.
Lineups
Fiorentina (3-4-3): Drągowski; Milenković, Ceccherini, Cáceres; Venuti, Duncan, Badelj, Lirola; Chiesa, Vlahović, Ribery
Cagliari (3-5-2): Cragno; Walukiewicz, Klavan, Lykogiannis; Mattiello, Rog, Nainggolan, Nández, Birsa; João Pedro, Simeone
