Pre-match

Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte rotated the defense a bit, bringing in Diego Godín and Danilo D’Ambrosio, while Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku returned to the attack. Fiorentina mister Giuseppe Iachini changed things quite a bit. The big change was Lorenzo Venuti replacing Federico Chiesa on the right. Alfred Duncan, Patrick Cutrone, and Dalbert returned to the XI, while Milan Badelj and Pietro Terracciano stepped in as well due to injury or exhaustion.

First half

Thanks to the post and Pietro Terracciano, Fiorentina somehow came away with a goalless draw at the half.

Second half

Inter had the best of the chances again, highlighted by this Alexis Sánchez drive off the post.
