With a very good second game from Christian Kouame, he showed us that there may just be a solution to our meager attack already on the team to compliment Vlahovic or Cutrone, this game was the exact opposite of what we have all come to understand what Fiorentina’s identiy is. A very dull, boring and drab first 95 minutes against Hellas Verona, Fiorentina did equalize with a miraculous 96th minute goal from the heavens which created an excitement in my house that has been missing during Viola games lately.

Lets forget for a moment that Fiorentina’s best player on the pitch is the player that the purchased and loaned back to Verona, This Fiorentina squad finally finished a game with the momentum and run of play with them which will hopefully follow them into the next game. That is all that I needed to see. This team is so young, so impressionable that momentum matters so much to them. We have that now going into Lecce, which is why I say we will win by a score of either 3-1 or 4-1. Mark it down here!

In the second half, Fiorentina was more active and at 67 minutes, Cutrone who took over from Ribery but spoiled an opportunity to score a header, in the end there were 5 scoring chances and finally at the last second Cutrone manages to deservedly equalize with a beautiful goal. Great game by Castrovilli in the second half.”

The second half was much less sucky that the first. Kouame played a very big game, completing the full 90 minutes and showing some of his capabilities, which I’m sure got some fans excited.
