Late news
Udinese manager Luca Gotti will change things up in a big way, deploying a 4-3-3 with several changes at the back, in midfield, and up top, although star man and forever Viola transfer target Rodrigo de Paul will continue to work in central midfield.
Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli, dealing with injuries in the attack, will try a 4-3-1-2 that doesn’t rotate all that many players from Sunday’s loss against Benevento. Borja Valero, Erick Pulgar, and Martín Cáceres, in fact, are the only changes in outfield for this one, which falls squarely on owner Rocco Commisso’s birthday.
Lineups
Udinese (3-5-2): Musso; Samir, Bonifazi, Nuytinck, Molina; Makengo, Pereyra, De Paul; Deulofeu, Lasagna, Forrestieri
Fiorentina (4-3-1-2): Terracciano; Cáceres, Milenković, Pezzella, Biraghi; Amrabat, Pulgar, Valero; Castrovilli; Kouamé, Vlahović
