Fiorentina vs Padova: Lineups and how to watch

Late news

The most notable absence for Fiorentina is manager Giuseppe Iachini, who’s watching from the stands due to accumulation of yellow cards in the Coppa clashes against Atalanta and Inter Milan last year; top assistant and fellow Ascoli native Giuseppe Carillo will patrol the touchlines instead. The plan is clearly to send out the second stringers; Nikola Milenković is the only starter returning from Sunday’s clash against Udinese.

Padova boss Andrea Mandorlini has also rotated his side heavily as the Biancoscudati try to stay at the top of their division in Serie C. Keep an eye on former Viola Primavera star Nicola Fazzi (owner of some flawless eyebrows) making a rare start in an unfamiliar rightback role. The midfield and attack have also been changed quite a bit, with only Ronaldo and Davide Nicastro remaining from the last league fixture.

Lineups

Fiorentina (3-5-2): Terracciano; Martínez Quarta, Milenković, Igor; Venuti, Pulgar, Duncan, Saponara, Barreca; Callejón, Cutrone

Padova (4-3-3): Vannucchi; Fazzi, Pelagatti, Gasbarro, Curcio; Vasić, Ronaldo, Buglio; Santini, Nicastro, Jelenić

How to watch

TV: Yeah, nah. Check the full international television listings here if you want to, but don’t count on it.
