Late news

Fiorentina boss Giuseppe Iachini will miss his top two captains in Franck Ribery and Germán Pezzella, who both failed late fitness tests. Dušan Vlahović (looking for a chance to bounce back after a dreadful show against Inter Milan) and Federico Ceccherini will replace them, while Federico Chiesa will wear the armband.

Sampdoria manager Claudio Ranieri has also shuffled the deck after a couple of really poor performances from his charges, bringing in Maya Yoshida, Mikkel Damsgaard (making his first Serie A start), and Gaston Ramírez.

Lineups

Fiorentina (3-5-2): Drągowski; Milenković, Ceccherini, Cáceres; Chiesa, Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli, Biraghi; Vlahović, Kouamé

Sampdoria (4-4-2): Audero; Bereszyński, Yoshida, Tonelli, Augello; Candreva, Thorsby, Ekdal, Damsgaard; Ramírez, Quagliarella

How to watch

TV: Probably not, but check the full international television listings here to be certain.

Online: Here is your list of safe, reliable, and legal streams. If you’re in the US, ESPN+ is showing it; sign up using this link if you don’t have an account yet and Viola Nation will get a little bit of cash (Vox Media has affiliate partnerships. These do not influence editorial content, though Vox Media may earn commissions for products purchased via affiliate links.).

Any requests for or links to illegal streams will be deleted and result in bans. If you’re the Twitter type, give us a follow; we’ll be providing live match updates there. Otherwise, keep it here in the comments for the usual wailing and gnashing of teeth with the best damn sports community on the internet.

Forza Viola!
