Late news
Fiorentina boss Giuseppe Iachini will miss his top two captains in Franck Ribery and Germán Pezzella, who both failed late fitness tests. Dušan Vlahović (looking for a chance to bounce back after a dreadful show against Inter Milan) and Federico Ceccherini will replace them, while Federico Chiesa will wear the armband.
Sampdoria manager Claudio Ranieri has also shuffled the deck after a couple of really poor performances from his charges, bringing in Maya Yoshida, Mikkel Damsgaard (making his first Serie A start), and Gaston Ramírez.
Lineups
Fiorentina (3-5-2): Drągowski; Milenković, Ceccherini, Cáceres; Chiesa, Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli, Biraghi; Vlahović, Kouamé
Sampdoria (4-4-2): Audero; Bereszyński, Yoshida, Tonelli, Augello; Candreva, Thorsby, Ekdal, Damsgaard; Ramírez, Quagliarella
