Late news

Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Montella has chosen Luca Ranieri to deputize for the suspended Germán Pezzella in central defense, while Aleksa Terzić get the nod over Cristiano Biraghi, which will certainly set tongues to wagging. The rest of the XI is as expected. Monza boss Cristian Brocchi, on the other hand, sends out the exact same lineup that beat Benevento last week. Despite the miserably hot and muggy conditions, 20,000 Viola fans are expected to attend, so the atmosphere should be superb.

Lineups

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Drągowski; Lirola, Milenković, Ranieri, Terzić; Pulgar, Badelj, Benassi; Chiesa, Boateng, Sottil

Monza (4-3-1-2): Lamanna; Lepore, Bellusci, Scaglia, Sampirisi; Iocolano, Rigoni, Armellino; Chiricò; Finotto, Brighenti

How to watch

TV: RAI if you’re in Italy. Otherwise, nah.

Online: Currently none listed, but we’ll update this page if/when we find any options.

[Update 9:08 AM Looks like RAI has the stream as well, but nothing from the team on Violachannel or Facebook.]

We will at least be providing live commentary via Twitter, so give us a follow if you’re the type. Otherwise, keep it in the comments here for suspense and befuddlement with the best damn sports community on the internet.

Forza Viola!
