Friday Poll: What is your second-least favorite Italian team?

We all know who’s last place.

If you know anything about Fiorentina fans, you know that they hate, hate, hate Juventus. Whether it’s the dubious penalty that the Old Lady “earned” in 1982 to win the scudetto, the absurdly crooked transfer of Roberto Baggio ahead of the second leg of the 1990 UEFA Cup final, or just the general insufferability/awfulness that surrounds the club, there’s no shortage of reasons to turn up one’s nose at Newcastle Junior. We all agree on that. Case closed.

But, after Juve, which Italian club do you most despise? Inter Milan and AC Milan are the other two biggest clubs and have had their fair share of unlikeable characters and episodes. AS Roma and Napoli aren’t far behind in size and prestige. Lazio is full of actual Nazis and is thus very easy to dislike. Bologna, Empoli, Livorno, Pisa, and Siena are all heated regional rivalries. Palermo, for those of us who were around for the old Offside days, was about as awful as anyone because their fans would appear and troll the board with really stupid stuff for the week preceding a match.

But only one can wear the tiara of second-least popular, so you must choose.
