Friday Poll: Which Fiorentina player would you want on your zombie survival squad?

This is your brain on the international break.

It’s a question that we’ve all asked ourselves over the years: who, in the event of a zombie (or just general) apocalypse, would you want in your survival squad? Of the fictional characters, Peter Washington, Stephen Andrews, and Francine Parker from Dawn of the Dead would be useful; as would Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock from Zombieland. Alternatively, Chris and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil games would also be pretty helpful.

But this isn’t fiction we’re talking about. This is for a real life zombie apocalypse rather than a made-up one (yes, there are layers to this). You’d need folks with different knowledge bases, talents, and mentalities. You need everyone to be calm but willing and able to make split-second decisions and carry out physically and mentally demanding work. Outside of military and paramilitary personnel, you’re clearly describing athletes as much as anyone else.

So, let’s turn this onto the current edition of Fiorentina. While everyone on the squad would certainly bring something useful to the table, who would be your first pick? Who would give you and the rest of your group the best chance to not only survive the craziness but come through with flying colors?

The Mountain that Kicks may already be a fairly friendly zombie himself, depending how far into GoT you are, so Nikola Milenković is the obvious choice.

Who better to lead a ravening horde of revenants on a wild goose chase to distract them and protect the rest of the group than the slippery, lightning-quick Luis Muriel?

Here’s your weekend thread. Let it all hang out. Okay, maybe not all. Maybe tuck some of it back in.
