Giovanni Simeone will start on the bench with Gerson on the wing, while Federico Ceccherini will return at rightback, allowing Nikola Milenković to partner Germán Pezzella in the center of defense while Vitor Hugo remains benched. Despite rumors from the midweek, Christian Nørgaard only makes the bench.

Simone Inzaghi has sent out his usual XI. Goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha (shoulder) is apparently well enough to start; he was the only real question mark.
