Late news
Sassuolo boss Robert de Zerbi will return to the 4-3-3 he’s used at times this season, using more or less the personnel we anticipated. Hamed Junior Traorè will start from the bench, which means he’s definitely going to score as a substitute against the club that refused to buy him over what certainly look like bogus medical concerns.
Fiorentina mister Vincenzo Montella, his hand forced by absences in defense, has reverted to a 4-3-3 shape from his usual 3-5-2. Lorenzo Venuti replaces Pol Lirola on the right, while Marco Benassi will make a rare start in relief of Milan Badelj in midfield with Erick Pulgar sliding into the holding role. Up top, Kevin-Prince Boateng will work at striker with Riccardo Sottil also getting a start opposite Federico Chiesa while Franck Ribery is suspended.
Lineups
Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Toljan, Marlon, Romagna, Peluso; Duncan, Magnanelli, Đuričić; Berardi, Caputo, Boga
Fiorentina (4-3-3): Drągowski; Venuti, Milenković, Pezzella, Dalbert; Benassi, Pulgar, Castrovilli; Chiesa, Boateng, Sottil
How to watch
TV: Check the full international television listings here, but this is probably one you’ll need to stream.
Online: Here is your list of safe, reliable, and legal streams. If you’re in the US, ESPN+ is showing it; sign up using this link if you don’t have an account yet and Viola Nation will get a little bit of cash (Vox Media has affiliate partnerships. Any requests for or links to illegal streams will be deleted, and anyone who posts either will be banned. If you’re the Twitter type, give us a follow to keep up with our live updates there. Otherwise, keep it here in the comments for the requisite pessimism of the best damn sports community on the internet.
