Fiorentina vs Roma: Lineups and how to watch

A slightly rotated side for a midweek match shouldn’t make anyone feel this anxious, but here we are.

Late news

Stefano Pioli clearly has Fiorentina’s upcoming match with Udinese in mind, as he’s rotated his midfield to start Marco Benassi and Edimilson Fernandes, who are both likely out of league contention. Luis Muriel will start at striker with Kevin Mirallas on the wing and Giovanni Simeone on the bench, where he’s joined by AS Roma loanee Gerson.

Eusebio di Francesco also rotates his squad a bit, with the most notable changes in attack, where forgotten man Javier Pastore will work as the trequartista behind Patrik Schick.

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Lafont; Milenković, Pezzella, Hugo, Biraghi; Fernandes, Veretout, Benassi; Chiesa, Muriel, Mirallas

Roma (4-2-3-1): Olsen; Florenzi, Manolas, Fazio, Kolarov; Nzonzi, Cristante; Zaniolo, Pastore, El Shaarawy; Schick
