Pre-match
Napoli made a few changes to their line-up, the biggest surprise was in goal as Orestis Karnezis started ahead of David Ospina in goal. They also welcomed back key players Jose Callejon and captain Marek Hamsik
Fiorentina made one change with Jordan Veretout making his first start of the season. The Viola were looking to continue the team's fine sart to the season but faced the biggest test so far at the San Paolo.
First Half
There were only two shots on target in the first half and that pretty much summed it up. Napoli edged the half ever so slightly but, Pioli will no doubt have been the happier, restricting the home side to only one shot on target.
Second Half
On 79 minutes Napoli scored a deserved goal through Lorenzo Insigne, the winger cut inside and finished well from a Arkadiusz Milik through ball. Fiorentina looked happy with a draw and sat back a bit too much as Napoli pressed forward.
