Sassuolo 3-3 Fiorentina: Highlights

Pre-match

Federico Chiesa and Giovanni Simeone dropped out with the former out with an injury. Dusan Vlahovic made a rare start as he lead the line, with Marko Pjaca and Gerson alongside him.

Sassuolo who came into this one sitting in 8th position and had a familiar face up top with Khouma Babacar facing his former side.

First Half

Fiorentina really struggled to create in the first half and it was Sassuolo wo were doing most of the pressing with Domenico Berardi doing most of the running.

Fiorentina’s best chance came through Gerson, but it was a very poor showing from the Viola.

Second half

Alfred Duncan got the scoring underway with a fine finish from outside the box.

Duncan turned provider as he set up Babacar as he easily scored past his former club.

Simeone ended his goal drought to get one back as he got his side back into the game with a close range finish.

It looked as if it was all over after a fantastic strike from Stefano Seni. He made it 3-1 and it appeared he had finished the game off...

With Sassuolo down to ten Benassi got one back and the game was well and truly back on for the Viola.

Incredibly despite losing a man themselves, Kevin Mirallas completed the comeback with a great finish to make it 3-3.
