First half

Things started poorly for Fiorentina, as Davide Astori clipped Mauro Icardi in the area in the 6th minute, and the Inter Milan striker made no mistake with his penalty.

The Argentine doubled his tally 9 minutes later, splitting Nenad Tomović and Vitor Hugo at the back post to meet an Ivan Perišić cross. The defense should have done better, honestly.

Second half

At 79’, João Mário floated a cross through the area, and Tomović completely lost track of Perišić on the back post. The Croatian got low to head past Sportiello and complete the rout.
