Now that the summer transfer window is in full effect, we need a break from all the crazy rumors going around. Who really knows what to believe, at one time Bernardeschi was interested in staying in Florence. Apparently now, he wants to jump ship. Well in the midst of all the craziness there are two things we know to be true about next season. Number 1 is that Fiorentina will have four away kits plus the viola home kit going into next season. Number 2 is that Chiesa is the face of this team and they are marketing him anytime possible.

A lot of times it gets a little silly when teams start creating new kits. Normally, it is just a marketing ploy to get fans to spend more money. To be honest it works. Well when it comes to Fiorentina, there is a new meaning to their fresh kits. Each of the away uniforms will represent a neighborhood in Florence. Those sections of the city are Santa Maria Novella, San Giovanni, Santa Croce, and Santo Spirito. As someone that lived in Florence this is actually really cool. The new kits are red, green, blue, and white. Really the only new colors are the green and blue. Either way they are fun.

Check them out here:

The unveiling of the new uniforms came during an event with the captains of each of the Calcio Storico teams in Florence. If you do not know anything about Calcio Storico, check it out. This game is like rugby, meets football, meets american football, meets war. It is a big part of Florence history if you have not checked it out already watch the video below.

Well what do you think about the new kits in Florence? Personally the viola ones are my favorite and will always be what I think of when I think of Fiorentina. After that the red are really cool and bring back the old style of their former jerseys that had a mix of red and white. What do you think of the new kits? Comment below.
