Preview
With the season winding down, Fiorentina is looking to get some momentum to push the team a little further up the table. The starting lineup pretty much looks how it normally does except Nikola Kalinic, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Federico Bernardeschi, and Federico Chiesa are missing. Well maybe it does not look that normal actually. Hopefully, Sousa’s new tactic will end in a solid result.
First Half
The first 30 minutes of this match looked like a snooze fest. Each team was making haphazard plays. The ball seemed to be flying everywhere and that all changed when Carlos Salcedo earned a yellow card. A blast from the past, Alessandro Diamanti used his left foot in a free kick to squeek past Tatarusanu in the 32’.

Then Chiesa came on and the game picked up some pace.
Second Half
Chances, chances, and more chances, the story of the second half. La Viola were looking for the equalizing goal for the longest time and seemed to not be able to capitalize on any of their chances. The most exciting part of the second half was when Davide Astori picked up his second yellow card of the match to send him off.
Then this happened....to put the final nail in the coffin....
