The past few years have brought a lot of turnover in Florence. As we all know the best way to contend for a championship is to have consistency. Just look at Juventus: they have a core of players that have been together for a long time. Just to remind everyone Juventus has won the last 5 Serie A Championships. Besides transferring for top tier players, the best way to try to dethrone the Bianconeri is to build a team from the ground up. That happens by creating a great youth system and making key acquisitions of young talent. In steps Cristian Tello.

Tello is a young player with loads of potential. The Spanish winger is currently on loan at Fiorentina and has played very well of late. First of all he is a Barcelona product. If that does not give a vote of confidence to fans I don’t know what does. If Barcelona wanted to give Fiorentina any of their players it would probably be welcomed.

According to it would only take € 6 Million for la Viola to secure the services of Tello beyond this season. Also if you watched the last match against US Pescara you saw a stellar performance from the young Spaniard. The more opportunities he gets the more he will grow. Hopefully, Paulo Sousa continues to give Tello opportunities to shine.

If the management in Florence believe in the 25 year old, then they should definitely sign him on for next season and beyond. Can you imagine building around Cristian Tello and Federico Bernardeschi on the wings with Federico Chiesa in the mix as well? This squad needs to grow together to become the Italian Power we are all hoping for.
