Mario Gaspar will return to the lineup at wingback, with Federico Chiesa manning the other side. Carlos Sánchez will hold down the midfield, with Riccardo Saponara playing as the number 10 off Khouma Babacar, who gets the start despite his war of words with the mister over the weekend.

Simone Inzaghi, on the other hand, will make make changes up top, with Felipe Anderson just behind Felipe Caicedo, but the midfield and defense are as expected.
