First half
Qarabag rightback Elvin Yunuszada rightly received a red car in the 30th minute for fouling Nikola Kalinic when the Croatian was through on goal. In the 39th minute, Khouma Babacar slammed home the rebound of a Kalinic free kick.
Kalinic got his just 4 minutes later, as Cristian Tello put Sebastian Cristoforo through on goal, and the Uruguayan brilliantly backheeled to Kalinic for an easy one.
Fiorentina still weren’t done, though, as Kalinic turned provider, deftly beating his man and crossing for Babacar to sidefoot home.
Second half
Substitute Mauro Zarate scored this rocket just 2 minutes after coming on at the hour mark.
The Argentinean wasn’t done, though, slamming home a free kick in the 78th minute.
Dino Ndlovu pulled one back for the visitors in stoppage time, but the Viola didn’t seem bothered.
