Paulo Sousa has thrown everyone a curveball, as he looks set to bring back the 3-4-1-2 shape featured earlier in the season. Nenad Tomovic will replace suspended captain Gonzalo Rodriguez. Matias Vecino will join Borja Valero (wearing the armband in Gonzalo’s absence) in the midfield, with Milan Badelj dropping to the bench. Up top, Khouma Babacar will get a rare start along with Nikola Kalinic.

Eugenio Corini has also made a couple of surprise moves, particularly in handing the start to 19-year-old defender Giuseppe Pezzella. Ivaylo Chochev will start in midfield ahead of Bruno Enrique and Alessandro Gazzi. Ex-Viola attacker Alessandro Diamanti will start from the bench.
