Paulo Sousa has, once again, sprung some surprises. Gonzalo Rodriguez (leg) still isn’t fully healthy, so Carlos Salcedo will start in the heart of the defense. Matias Vecino and Milan Badelj will continue as the central midfield pairing in the absence of Borja Valero (leg). The big surprise is that Cristian Cristoforo will start ahead of Josip Ilicic, indicating that Sousa wants energy in the middle. Federico Chiesa will start over Cristian Tello.
