Fiorentina have confirmed that Gilberto has suffered an injury in training and will be out of action for around a month. The Brazilian player has a grade two injury to the right rectus femoris (part of the front thigh muscle in layman's terms) and will commence his rehabilitation once the swelling has abated.

There were also fears of an injury to Facundo Roncaglia after he had to be substituted during Fiorentina's 4-1 victory over Inter at the San Siro (have we already mentioned this win?) but is not thought to be too serious, as the player has worked in the gym this week.

Manuel Pasqual, who missed Sunday's match through injury, is also expected to be out for another 3 weeks.

The players called up for tomorrow's Europa League fixture away to Portuguese Belenenses are as follows:

Marcos Alonso, Davide Astori, Khouma Babacar, Milan Badelj, Federico Bernardeschi, Jakub Błaszczykowski, Borja Valero, Matí Fernández, Josip Iličić, Nikola Kalinić, Luca Lezzerini, Ante Rebić, Facundo Roncaglia, Giuseppe Rossi, Luigi Sepe, Mario Suárez, Ciprian Tătăruşanu, Nenad Tomović, Matías Vecino, Joan Verdú
