Both Matias Vecino and Jakub Błaszczykowski look set to sit out tomorrow's match with Chievo after sustaining injuries during Thursday's Europa League game with FC Basel.

The fitness of Vecino will be further assessed during today's training session after tests ruled out damage to the muscles and tendons in his left thigh. Vecino was due to start against Basel but suffered the injury during the warm up - Borja Valero was his last minute replacement.

Błaszczykowski was handed a starting place against Basel but landed awkwardly during the match and Fiorentina have confirmed that the Polish winger has suffered a partial dislocation of the AC joint. It remains to be seen how long the player will be out for but Kuba himself confirmed on his official Facebook page that he will need a few days rest as he momentarily lost consciousness after the fall. Despite this, he wants to be ready for Wednesday's Serie A game against Bologna.

Jutro nie zagram, ale... liczę, że tylko jutro! W meczu z Basel źle upadłem, pamiętacie. Lekko uszkodziłem bark, stracił...
