Neither Giuseppe Rossi nor many of the big guns will feature in today's first Moena friendly, but Paulo Sousa has chosen a first lineup that will no doubt be very interesting to the Fiorentina faithful. An all-Primavera front four, as well as starts from injury-cursed talents Ahmed Hegazi and Michele Camporese in defense are sure to capture the attention of any Viola fan.
Sousa is also already tipping his hand tactically, as I define this almost immediately as a 4-2-3-1, although it is possible that Sousa will ask goal-scoring midfield dynamo Andy Bangu to play a more restrained role in a 4-3-3. ViolaNews in fact has the team as a 3-4-2-1, but with Montenegrin enigma Marko Bakic playing ahead of Pape Diakhate, which to me makes little sense.
Anyways, here is the team news:
FIORENTINA (4-2-3-1): Lezzerini (C); Bittante, Gigli, Hegazi, Camporese; Bakic, Petriccione; Fazzi, Bangu, Diakhate; Gondo
Viola bench: Rosati, Bagadur, Tomovic, Basanta, Alonso, Capezzi, Vecino, Venuti, Gomez, Bernardeschi, Makarov, Rebic, Zanon
Team Trentino (???): Rossetti, Gretter, Nardin (C), Scudiero, Dossi, Dal Bosco, Condini, Bugna, Callovini, Gorla, Bertarelli
You can watch the game on ViolaChannel.tv at around 11:30 EST. Forza viola, let's forget about the mercato for a little bit!
