Manuel Pasqual has today signed a one year extension to his contract, Fiorentina securing his services until 2016.The 33 year old has been with the club since 2005, making 330 appearances and scoring 10 goals. The deal has ended any speculation of a move away from Florence, as there had been talk earlier in the season of interest from AC Milan.

Pasqual's renewal is the first of a number of players who have a contract that is due to expire in the summer. Further news will soon be emerging from the club on the fate of the rest.
