Europa League QF is just 90 minutes away

La Viola travel to Rome for the second leg of the Europa League tie, with the game delicately poised at 1-1

Confidence ahead of tomorrow's huge Europa League clash for La Viola will certainly come from looking at the form guide. Apart from one (fairly large) blip against Lazio, Fiorentina are unbeaten since the beginning of January. AS Roma on the other hand, have drawn eight out of their last twelve games and on Monday evening a 2-0 defeat at home to Sampdoria compounded their misery. Seydou Keita even mentioned the word "crisis" in their pre-match press conference.

As we all know though, reading too much into form guides is a dangerous game and Fiorentina will need to be at their best to advance to the next round. The giallorossi will be buoyed by their away goal and the more worrying thing is that this means that draw specialists Roma will go through with a 0-0 result. They will have to do without suspended Midfielder Radja Nainggolan but captain Francesco Totti will return from injury.

Fiorentina look likely to bring Egyptian ace Mohammed Salah back into the squad after he was rested for Monday's victory over AC Milan and will have a surprise addition to the bench in the form of Mario Gomez who has recovered quickly from his ankle injury. Monday's game changers Joaquin and Milan Badelj also should start.

La Viola are poised for what could be a very memorable season, and tomorrow night's game is a pivotal point. Time will tell if Vincenzo Montella can work his magic once again to take Fiorentina one step closer to the Europa League trophy.

Projected Lineups:

AS Roma (4-3-3): Skorupski; Holebas, Astori, Manolas, Torisidis; Pjanic, Keita, Florenzi; Gervinho, Totti, Ljajic

FIORENTINA (3-5-2):  NETO; SAVIC, GONZALO, TOMOVIC; ALONSO, BADELJ, MATI, VALERO, JOAQUIN; BABACAR, SALAH
