Fiorentina and Bologna negotiating Iličić transfer

Oh no Iličić might be leaving, how will we survive? - said no one.

Josip Iličić's time at Fiorentina is nearing the end, as Serie B side, Bologna, is trying to secure his services. The mastermind behind this potential move is none other than Pantaleo Corvino, former Fiorentina sporting director, now occupying the same position at Bologna. The club was sold this summer to a North American group led by a lawyer Joe Tacopina and are making their ambitions no secret. They want to be back in Serie A, and getting Iličić is one step in that direction. According to La Nazione, Fiorentina and Bologna have already reached the deal. And, supposedly, it wouldn't be a loan with an option to buy, instead the felsinei want to buy the Slovenian, and are ready to spend seven million euros.

Now, the sides have to persuade Iličić to take the offer. It isn't an easy decision and as much as we might be frustrated with Josip for all the below average performances - he is a talented and most definitely not a Serie B player. That said, we hope he accepts the offer, goes to Bologna and hopefully finds the much needed, lost confidence and becomes the player he can be. Just... far from Fiorentina.
